join us for a slow afternoon of tea, thoughtful stories, and meaningful conversation.
we'll put our phones away for a few hours and create space to pause, listen, and reflect together ☻

You don't need to know anything about Zen or meditation. Curiosity is enough.

We'll be meeting in a very special location: **Okūma** \- a beautiful\, quiet\, intimate tea space designed to help you slow down in the heart of Budapest\. 🍵✨

For this gathering, we'll have the tea lounge reserved exclusively for the unplugged club, giving us a private and peaceful space to reflect and share without distractions.

**〜 What to expect**
**✧ Break through mental blocks:** Zen koans (stories and riddles) challenge conventional logic, helping you break free from rigid thought patterns and look at challenges from a fresh perspective.

**✧ Mindfulness in a cup:** Use the simple ritual of brewing and tasting tea as a grounding exercise to restore your focus and inner calm.

**✧ Meaningful connections:** Engage in authentic, high-level dialogues with like-minded individuals who value both mental well-being and personal growth.

**〜About zen stories**
Zen stories are brief, often unexpected, and intentionally open-ended. They invite us to slow down, question our assumptions, and look at familiar things from a different angle.

Master Zhaozhou once simply said: **"Go drink tea".** Whether you are searching for answers or seeking a moment of peace, everything you need is already within this present moment. Step away from the daily grind, pick up your cup, and rediscover your center.

**〜The tea**
For this gathering, Okūma has prepared a special menu exclusively for our group, with a choice of **hot or iced tea**.

The participation cost is from **2,000 HUF**, which includes both the **private use of the space** and **tea**. It's a wonderful opportunity to experience one of Budapest's most unique tea spaces while enjoying a slow afternoon together.
